Facilitators and trainers who want a group to feel a trade-off rather than hear a lecture about one.
How it works
- Hand out the six role cards, each with a motivation and one power move, and start the game.
- Draw the crisis cards for the round, give the group four minutes to argue, then lock one option per card.
- After three rounds, reveal the four dials, read the verdict, and work back through the decision log at the debrief.
Questions
- How long does it take?
- Three rounds of four minutes of discussion plus the decisions and the debrief. Five decisions are made in total, drawn from a deck of nine crisis cards.
- Do the dials move visibly during play?
- No. Morale, trust, velocity and technical debt all move silently, which is the point, and are revealed at the debrief against their starting marks.
- Is anything saved?
- No. The game lives in the page while it runs. Copy or download the debrief summary before you close the tab, because a reload starts a new game.
