Leaders and coaches assembling the measures a team, a train or a portfolio will be judged by.
How it works
- Name the set, then add a row per metric: the level it sits at, the decision it informs, and the domain it belongs to.
- Pick the primary metric from the catalogue or write your own, then add the counterbalance, with suggestions offered for the known gaming risks.
- Read the balance view and the flags: an empty domain, a domain over sixty per cent, a level with nothing on it, and any metric without a counterbalance.
Questions
- What is a counterbalance?
- A second metric that moves the wrong way when the first is pushed too hard, so that gaming the number costs something visible to everyone watching.
- Does it choose my metrics for me?
- No. It carries a catalogue of thirteen metrics and twelve gaming rules; the choice, the wording and the rationale stay yours.
- Can I export the set?
- Not at the moment. The set is saved to your account and read inside the tool, where the flags stay attached to the rows they belong to.
